Swinomish Tribe focus of panel about environmental, youth justice

The Swinomish Tribe will be the focus of a discussion about environmental and juvenile justice at a panel Thursday, Oct. 28 at 12:30 p.m. at UW School of Law in William Gates Hall.

Swinomish tribal historian Larry Campbell will speak about the tribe’s treaty history and the March Point oil refinery’s impacts on the environment, cultural life-ways and tribal members’ health.

The film March Point will be screened Wednesday and Thursday at 3:45 p.m., also at the UW School of Law in William Gates Hall.
