Reviving Salmon Runs Through Tribal Hatchery Leadership

Lummi Nation has shown that hatcheries informed by Indigenous knowledge and the latest science can help prevent salmon from extinction. In partnership with the American Fisheries Society and the nonprofit Content with Purpose, new films created as part of the Tomorrow’s Catch series showcase this treaty tribe’s dedication to sustaining salmon and their fishing culture.
