The Medal of Freedom was presented to Billy Frank Jr. on Nov. 24. It is the nation’s highest civilian honor. Frank family representative Peggen Frank accepted the award on behalf of the family. You can watch the ceremony here. The ceremony for all 17 awards begins at minute 44.
