Indian college’s 4-year degree wins approval

Bellingham Herald:

LUMMI RESERVATION — Northwest Indian College is joining the ranks of Whatcom County’s four-year-degree colleges, and that’s just the beginning of changes students will see next school year.

The college recently won approval from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities to offer a four-year degree in Native Environmental Science. This means the college will offer both an associate’s degree and a Bachelor of Science degree.
