NATIVE AMERICAN FISH AND WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ACT TO BE HEARD
The U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs will conduct a hearing on the Native American Fish and Wildlife Management Act (S 2301) on Thursday, April 29. This legislation, which is a work in progress, offers important potential support for tribal natural resource management programs. Copies of the draft bill have been distributed to all tribes.
