Can the blueback survive?

Quinault tribal fisherman Butch Pope, policy representative Ed Johnstone and President Fawn Sharp grew up eating blueback salmon. The Quinault Division of Natural Resources has been fighting to recover the iconic fish from habitat degradation, but now finds itself at ground zero for the environmental impacts of climate change.

Winner of the 2021 Shawash Ilihi Award and the Audience Award for Best Native American Film at the McMinnville Short Film Festival.
